Approval Process

All requests for membership are reviewed and approved by the Board of Directors. Once your membership documents are received, your request for membership will be considered.

Payment

Upon approval of your membership, you will be granted membership benefits and be invoiced a pro-rata portion of member dues through the end of the calendar year.

Payment is due within sixty (60) days of when the invoice is issued. Acceptable forms of payment are wire transfer and company check. Complete details will be included on the invoice.

Annual Renewal

The annual renewal date for all members is January 1. Renewal payments are due within 30 days of a Member’s renewal date.

Charter

in addition to Promoter‐level benefits)

  • Eligibility to appoint a Charter Member director to serve on Board of Directors (up to twelve (12) seats reserved for Charter members)

  • Priority opportunities for participation in conferences hosted or sponsored by DSA (e.g. speaking slots, sponsorships) and inclusion in all significant press releases and events (e.g. inclusion in About Us section or member profile)

$40.000 annually

Promoter

In addition to Advisor‐level benefits

  • Eligible to appoint a Promoter Member director to serve on Board of Directors (up to six (6) seats reserved for Promoter members)

  • Ability to establish and chair Work Groups, subject to Work Group Procedures document

  • Approval of certain Final Deliverables and Policy Positions to the general public and other organizations (Board Directors only)

  • Oversight of the governance and operation of DSA

  • Eligibility to submit nominations of Charter‐ or Promoter‐level members for election to Board of Directors

  • Ability to appoint/elect new Charter‐ or Promoter‐level members, subject to election process defined in governing document (Board Directors only)

$20.000 annually

Advisor

  • Company name and logo hyperlinked on membership roster of DSA website

  • Eligibility to be nominated to serve as a non‐voting member of the Board of Directors (one (1) seat reserved for Advisor members)

  • Access to Final Deliverables and other materials and resources through members‐only website developed by the organization as may be approved by the Board of Directors

  • Right to participate as a voting member of work groups

  • Access to corporation activities: member meetings, industry event sponsorship/participation, newsletters, etc.

  • Right to use the DSA name and/or logo in connection with membership, subject to logo usage guidelines

$10.000 annually

Observer

FREE (not‐for‐profit corporations or public sector organizations only)

Same benefits as Advisor level outlined below, but no voting rights within Work Groups (observer only) and no ability to serve as a non‐voting member of the Board of Directors.

  • Right to participate as an observing member of work groups (no voting rights)

  • Company logo and name hyperlinked on membership roster of DSA website

  • Access to DSA activities: member meetings, industry event sponsorship/participation, newsletters, etc.

  • Right to use the DSA name and/or logo in connection with membership

  • Access to Final Deliverables and other materials and resources through members‐only website
