Welcome to Monroe Organic Farms, LLC, one of the oldest organic farms in Colorado and possibly the oldest in the United States. In 1936, our family established the Monroe homestead in Weld County, southeast of Greeley, and we have been growing organic produce ever since! We see ourselves as caretakers of this land that we have come to know like a cherished family member. Our farming philosophy emphasizes taste over size and appearance. We constantly try new and unique varieties—including heirlooms—to find the best tasting vegetables our farm can produce.
